It seems to me that this book will be a little bit different from the first. I like one of the big questions she asks at the beginning:
"Who decides what's important and what is not?"
That's a good question, it seems to me. Her stinky teacher, Mrs. W, says that some things are important, but Clarice doesn't always think so. She doesn't care about spelling. That's not important to HER. To Clarise, Ruby Redford is important, not spelling.
I found two cool web sites that you should check out. Go to Google and type in "Clarice Bean" and you'll find the first one. Type in "Lauren Child" (she's the author) and you'll find the second one. The author's site has a cool picture of her when she was a girl.
I think this new book is going to be about spelling because the title is "spells trouble."
